Authors
Denniger Bolton
Denniger
is the author of three hilariously funny, very popular,
mystery-suspense-action-adventure novels.
Hippie Hollow - Murder on a
Nude Beach,
set in Austin, Texas, featuring B. B. Rivers, rodeo cowboy,
bouncer on 6th Street, and Austin's newest private investigator.
The Armadillo Whisperer - Murder Behind Bars
is B.B.'s second adventure, where he travels to Colorado. His third novel is just out , Honk If You're Jesus
- Murder by the Bay, set in Taos, San
Francisco and like the first two, includes of course, lots about Austin and the Texas Hill Country.
He's working on the 4th book in the Trilogy, Cowboy on Fire - Murder Under the Volcano, which is set in Costa Rica and other exotic locales.
Our
own Dripping Springs goat ropin' cowboy has written a screenplay adapting the fun and magic
of Hippie Hollow to the big screen.
He is available for humorous and informative presentations for book clubs and associations.
More About Denniger
Donald L. Buford
He's been called the James Joyce of our
generation! Donald L. Buford's new book,
Sex, Drugs & a Rock Band, Book One
will quickly become a cult classic. It's a
look at the music business from the inside out. Compared to Hunter S. Thompson
in his outrage and gutsy appeal, Don's Sex, Drugs is funny as
hell, a true slice of life in the music industry of the early 1970s of Kent
State and Woodstock. Somehow Don remembers (he thinks) all the little details
of that era, despite ingesting mass quantities of booze, drugs and groupies. A
day-to-day excursion through the crash pads and side streets of a little
southern town.
This autobiographical "writer's copy" is
un-censored, un-edited, free-flowing, a true
Gonzo recollection, and if you are a fan of
sex, drugs, and/or rock & roll, you will find Sex, Drugs Book I,
as good a representation of what transpired in those golden days of yesteryear
as you are ever going to find. Book Two is already written and ready for
publication in 2011.
Don says he'll keep writing until he
completely chronicles the 1970s.
His website is now
on-line, so if you'd like a copy, please go to the
Javelina Books Order Page. Be the first in your berg to get an advance
copy of the book that tells it how it really, really, was.

Lester Morris
Lester's new book The Violets Are Mine - Tales of an Unwanted Orphan, is a memoir of his life growing up in an orphanage and in foster care in World War II England. It has taken him over 30 years to get this book to print, beginning to be told when he was a tour director in England as he related tales from the events and experiences of his childhood to the captive audience on his tours.
What he went through as an orphan was so touching, yet at times so dismal and heart-wrenching, it is hard to relate to some of it. For a glimpse of what transpired in those days, the book is not only his life, but as well a personal look at a bygone era. Rest assured it will warm your heart and clear out your tear ducts and roll you in the aisles with laughter.
Pour yourself a snifter, a shot, or a cup of tea to warm you, light a fire in the fireplace, put on your robe and slippers, grab a box of tissue, and begin Lester's journey.
