Book Signings Hippie Hollow - Murder on a Nude Beach & The Armadillo Whisperer - Murder Behind Bars are selling like hotcakes! On his first book signing, in November of 2006, Denniger signed and sold 30 books at a booth at the Sunset Valley Farmers' Market in Austin, Texas. Here it is March of 2008, and he's still selling at the farmer's market. He had had much success there for a couple of reasons. One, the person who attends and buys at a farmer's market is the same person who buys this book. Independent, loves organics, prefers to deal directly with the producer. When you come to the market, which is ranked in the Top 10 of farmer's markets around the country, look for the Texas Flag tent. Denniger's been doing so well, there is now a literary strip mall of other publishers and authors. Here are a couple of useful links to that market. Click on photo to enlarge

He plans a tour out west in early summer. Look for Denniger in the Javelina Books booth at the Texas Art Festival on March 1st and 2nd at the Bob Bullock Museum. www.roadwayevents.com. Get tickets at www.oldsettlersmusicfestival.org. you can catch up with him at the Old Pecan Street Festival on Austin's 6th Street the first weekend in May and in September. In February 2007, Denniger spent his time calling on bookstores and selling books in California and working his way back to Texas by way of Arizona and New Mexico. He especially had a great time at the Saturday Morning and Thursday Night Farmer's Markets, located in Downtown Chico, California. Thanks to Terri and all the fine folks in Chico. They are some world class farmer's markets there. Chico Farmer's Market. Denniger found out that even though Hippie Hollow was set in Austin and California buyers did not know that Hippie Hollow was the only nude beach in Texas, we still intrigued with the cover and bought the book. "I thought my main market for the book was Austin, but the premise is All American, maybe even Universal," says Denniger.
On August 30th at 7 pm, he signed books at Cafe Mundi, located at 1704 East 5th Street. www.cafemundi.com. "Thanks to all who stopped by to chat, buy an autographed book, and share a cup of organic Peruvian coffee," says Denniger. Hippie Hollow and The Armadillo Whisperer are available for sale on this website, on Amazon and at BookPeople, located at 603 North Lamar Boulevard in Austin. See that fine independent bookstore, and what they have to say about the book online at www.bookpeople.com. Also the novel is available at all Barnes & Noble bookstores in the Austin area. You can also find the books at Farm To Market Grocery on South Congress in Austin.
